Macromedia FreeHand (10 or earlier)

Convert all text to "paths" and group all characters. Double check that everything is colored correctly in CMYK. Include a copy of the FreeHand document and all placed graphics.

  1. From the Edit Menu choose Select All Freehand - Step 1: Select All
  2. Under the Text Menu choose Convert to Paths Freehand - Step 2: Convert to Paths
  3. From the File Menu choose Export Freehand - Step 3: Export...
  4. Save as a Mac EPS, if using a PC choose EPS then click EXPORT Freehand - Step 4: Save (or Export) As Mac EPS
